Australian actress Rebel Wilson legally marries Ramona Agruma in Sydney

Australian actress Rebel Wilson has legally married fashion designer Ramona Agruma in her hometown of Sydney.

The couple had a lavish wedding ceremony on the Italian island of Sardinia in September, but have tied the knot again in a service which was officiated by Wilson’s sister Liberty.

Pitch Perfect star Wilson announced she had gotten engaged to fashion and jewellery designer Agruma at Disneyland in February 2023.

In an Instagram post featuring photos of the couple posing by Sydney Harbour, Wilson wrote: “My sister Liberty officiated our legal wedding in Sydney!

“It meant my 94-year-old grandmother Gar could come which was very special to us to have her included and just felt right to do it in my hometown at this glorious time of the year!”

The post also featured photos of the pair posing with comedian Wilson’s grandmother and loved ones.

Agruma shared similar posts on her Instagram page, writing: “Married officially in Australia to my Australian princess.”

Wilson wore a dusty pink ruffled dress for the occasion while Agruma donned a lacy white dress with cap sleeves.

For their Sardinia ceremony, both brides opted for off-the-shoulder white gowns with Wilson styling her hair to the side in long flowy waves, while Agruma had an elegant up-do.

Wilson revealed in June 2022 she was in a relationship with Los Angeles-based fashion and jewellery designer Agruma, writing on Instagram: “I thought I was searching for a Disney Prince … but maybe what I really needed all this time was a Disney Princess.”

The couple received media attention after Australian news outlet the Sydney Morning Herald tried to out Wilson before she went public with her new relationship with a woman.

Wilson announced the birth of her daughter Royce Lillian, by surrogate, in November 2022.

She told her 11 million Instagram followers: “I can’t even describe the love I have for her, she’s a beautiful miracle!”
