Olivia Dean returns to top of UK albums chart after Grammy win

Olivia Dean has returned to the top of the UK albums chart with The Art Of Loving, the Official Charts Company confirmed.

The 26-year-old’s return to the summit comes hot on the heels of the 2026 Grammy Awards last weekend, which saw the pop star take home the best new artist gong at the ceremony.

The Brit-certified gold record has landed Dean a string of nominations this awards season, including five nods at the Brit Awards and two Mobo Award nominations.

The Art Of Loving is enjoying its sixth non-consecutive week at the top spot, overtaking Lily Allen’s West End Girl, which is in second place.

Allen, 40, recently received three nominations at the Brit Awards for the album, which she wrote in the wake of the breakdown of her marriage to US actor David Harbour.

West End Girl has also topped the official vinyl chart for the most physical records sold, and the official record store chart for selling the most records in the UK’s independent record shops.

Elsewhere in the albums chart, rock band The Molotovs snagged the number three spot for their debut album, Wasted On Youth, which was released last week – marking their first entry in the albums chart.

The Molotovs said they were “incredibly proud”, adding: “We would like to thank all the fans who’ve bought the record and tickets to see us live.

“Our audience has been built through authentic connections with fans at shows. We’re very excited for what’s to come.”

The rest of the top five in the albums chart was made up of US rapper and singer Don Toliver’s Octane (four) and Fleetwood Mac’s 50 Years – Don’t Stop (five).

In the singles chart, Dave/Tems’ Raindance took the top spot, beating Raye’s Where Is My Husband!, which sits at number two, and Djo’s End Of Beginning, which is at three.

Former One Direction star Harry Styles’ latest single Aperture, which took the number one spot last week, is at four, while Taylor Swift is at number five with The Fate Of Ophelia.
