ALERT: Children's cutlery sold in Ireland recalled due to choking hazard

Packs of children's cutlery sold in Ireland are being recalled due to a major potential choking risk.

According to the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (CCPC), Liewood is carrying out a recall of SELENA Fork 6-packs, RYAN Cutlery set 9-packs, and ERIN Spoon 6-packs.

The biodegradable material used in the items has been found to be prone to breakage, creating a major potential safety risk for children.

The affected model numbers for the SELENA pack are LW14237 and LW14909, LW14235 for the RYAN pack, and LW14232 and LW14901 for the ERIN packs.

The barcodes and batch numbers are unknown.

There are approximately 22 affected products in the Republic of Ireland.

The product was on sale in store at Bow and Pearl and online at www.liewood.com

Customers should stop using the product and keep it out of the reach of children.

Customers who made online purchases can fill out a claim form for a full refund, while customers who bought instore should return the items to the store where the purchase was made.

Full details in relation to the recall can be viewed on the LIEWOOD website.

If customers have further questions or concerns, contact LIEWOOD directly via email at customercare@liewood.com
