Gardaí stand down two missing person searches within minutes amid update
Gardaí have stood down two missing person appeals within minutes this Friday evening.
Shortly after 8.30pm on Friday, the public appeal for missing 15-year-old John Doran was stood down. He had been missing from Terenure, Dublin 6 since June 20, 2024.
Gardaí say he has been "located safe and well."
A separate appeal for an Aaron Murphy, 23, who had been missing from Wicklow Town since June 21, 2024, was similarly stood down.

He too has been located safe and well, gardaí confirmed.
"We would like to thank the public and media for their assistance," they added in a statement.
