UPDATE: Search for man (37) missing since June stood down as gardaí give update

Gardaí have stood down their search and public appeal to find a missing man in Dublin after a new update.

37-year-old Vasile Antonie had been missing from his home in Santry, Dublin 9 for almost three months. He was last seen at approximately 5pm on Wednesday, June 5, 2024.

In an update on Sunday, September 1, gardaí said Vasile had been found safe.

They said: "Vasile Antonie, who was reported missing from Santry, Dublin 9, on Wednesday, 5th June 2024, has been located safe and well.

"An Garda Síochána would like to thank the public and the media for their assistance."
