A man remains in a "serious" condition after being assaulted in Dublin city centre in the early hours of Sunday morning.
Gardaí are appealing for witnesses following the serious assault on Talbot Street shortly after 1am on Sunday, October 6.
The man, aged in his 30s, was seriously injured and conveyed to the Mater Misericordiae University Hospital, where he remains in a serious but stable condition, according to gardaí.
A technical examination of the scene has since been conducted and investigations are ongoing.

An Garda Síochána is appealing for witnesses to this incident to come forward.
Any road users and pedestrians who may have camera footage (including dash-cam) from the Talbot Street area between 12.30am and 1.30am to make this footage available to gardaí.
