Payment dates for cost-of-living supports to be announced

From the end of October onwards, Irish households will begin to receive supports and lump sum payments as part of the Budget 2025 rollout.

November will see the beginning of Budget 2025's cost-of-living supports being rolled out across different sectors of the public.

People with disabilities, pensioners and carers can expect their first payment October 28 followed by the Christmas bonus which will be paid the week of December 2.

From November 4, there will be four payments which are the €300 lump sum for households receiving the fuel allowance, the €400 Disability Support Grant and the €400 Working Family Payment.

The first double child benefit payment will also be made on November 5 and families can expect another double payment on December 3.

From November 11, a €400 lump payment will be issued to carers as well as a €200 Living Alone Allowance paid to widows, widowers and others living alone under varied circumstances where they may be in need of additional support.

Additionally a €100 lump sum for families in receipt of the Child Support Grant will be paid on the week of November 25.

The €125 energy credits included in the budget will be paid at the start of November and the second payment will follow at the start of January.
