Niamh shared her personal experience after a procedure left her hospitalized with cellulitis.

Cellulitis is  a bacterial infection involving the inner layers of the skin. It specifically affects the dermis and subcutaneous fat.

"I actually ended up with cellulitis. It was really bad. It was like when you get an insect bite that's obviously bad as well but because there was filler involved with this it was really bad and going down into the muscle of my bum. I ended up in hospital. I was in hospital for two weeks and it was really scary. I could have died. It kind of woke me up. When I had it done the whole procedure was live streamed on the clinics channel and the whole way through the live stream they were saying this is 100% safe.

"That night I started showing symptoms but I was kind of being a bit delusional and hoping it was just a stomach bug and three days later I got this really bad feeling. I was like 'something really bad is going to happen.' I couldn't even get out of bed or hold anything down so my friend brought me to the hospital then at that point.

"I have gone like overnight to someone who was very pro, 'oh yeah I will do what I want' to someone that is like 'I will never touch myself again' because it is just not worth it. When you go into these things you want to try make yourself feel better, you don't want to end up in hospital for two weeks. "

Many fans have had a mixed reaction in the comments, one user said: "There’s risks with all surgeries and even more when in a foreign country. Vanity can cost you your life."

Another user said: "I'm genuinely sorry for the generation that seeks to feel better through this absolutely unnecessary type of procedure."
