WATCH: Tay Tay loves the Healy-Rae! Michael Healy-Rae posts bizarre AI Taylor Swift video
Kerry TD Michael Healy-Rae has posted a bizarre deep fake video of Taylor Swift 'endorsing' him in the upcoming General Election.
He posted the odd AI-generated clip to his X account on Monday and it is the latest in a series of odd posts from the politician who serves as a TD along with his brother Danny.
Michael Healy-Rae captioned the clip: "Some going to wake up to the news of an endorsement from Tay Tay herself. I mean haters will say it's fake (and they'd be right) but I'll just shake it off! Like, I'm not looking for a love story and don't want any bad blood.. I just want your number 1 vote when the time comes!"

The post comes just days after Healy-Rae posted another bizarre doctored video of him 'fighting' Taoiseach Simon Harris.
The odd clip was posted by the politician on X last week with the caption: "Simon Harris trying to dodge democracy like I don't know what!

It has been reported that a General Election will be called after Halloween with November 29 the most likely date. The Government has the option of waiting until Spring next year but all three Government parties favour an election before Christmas.
Healy-Rae's post sparked a huge reaction with some followers baffled by the intent of the video.
"Dodging democracy by calling an election. Right," one wrote.
"So based on that doctored clip from the Matrix, is Simon Harris is Neo? Does this mean he is the "one"? Is he the hero of this General Election story? Are you his mentor Morpheus? I'm so confused," another added.
