The Competition and Consumer Protection Commission has issued an urgent recall on the Fisher-Price Baby Biceps gift set.
The risk presented by this product, which was designed for babies three months old and above, is choking. The caps on the dumbbell can come off, which poses serious a serious risk to health.
The brand is Fisher-Price and the gift set also came with a toy headband, protein shake, kettlebell, and a dumbbell, for which the recall was issued on Thursday, October 24 of this year.
This recall only involves the dumbbell toy, that was part of the Baby Biceps gift set. The other products that came with the set are not being recalled and may be kept by customers, if they wish.
This product was made available by Smyths, Toymaster Limited and EEW Ltd in Ireland, consumers can return the product to the point of purchase for a full refund.

The type/number of model is GJD49. The batch number is 08-87961 – 80959-6. The bar code is 08-87961-80959-6. The product was sold from 2020 to 2022.
