Gardaí warn motorists 'to be considerate' after fining lorry driver for shocking reason...

A motorists was caught by gardaí for using their phone while driving a heavy goods vehicle (HGV).

Sharing a post to X (formerly Twitter), a spokesperson for An Garda Síochána said: "Santry Gardaí were on patrol yesterday when they saw the driver of this HGV using their phone while driving.

"They were stopped and the driver was issued a €160 fine and three penalty points.

"Motorists are asked to be considerate of other road users and to not use their phones."
