A gardai investigation is underway after two men were killed and three others were injured following a road crash in County Donegal.
Gardaí and emergency services say they attended the scene of the the two-car collision, at Liscooley on the N15 near Castlefinn in the east of the county, at around 10pm on Friday.
"The two male occupants, aged in their 30s, from one of these cars were fatally injured. A woman and a man, both aged in their 70s, from the second vehicle were taken to Letterkenny Hospital for treatment of serious injuries," said a garda spokesperson.
A second woman, aged her 30s, was treated for non-life threatening injuries.
Gardai say the road remains closed pending a technical examination by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators and that local diversions are in place.

They are appealing for any witnesses to this collision to come forward. Gardaí are also appealing for any road users who may have camera footage, including dash-cam, who were travelling in the area at the time of the collision to make this footage available to them.
