A man has been arrested following the seizure of €105,000 worth of drugs at a property in County Cork
A man has been arrested by gardai following a significant drugs seizure at a private residence in County Cork.
Confirming details of the seizure, garda say a variety of illicit substances, worth an estimated €105,000, were seized during an operation in the Carrigaline area on Tuesday night.
"Gardaí executed a search under warrant at approximately 9.30pm at a domestic residence in Carrigaline. During the operation they discovered approximately €96,500 worth of suspected Cocaine, €5,400 of ketamine, MDMA worth €2,000 and cannabis, valued at €1,800.
The man, who is aged in his 20s, is being detained under drug trafficking legislation at a garda station in Cork.

In a statement, gardai say the drugs seized are undergoing further analysis by Forensic Science Ireland.
Investigations are ongoing and, subject to court orders, the suspect can be detained without charge for up to seven days.
