Gardaí are seeking the public's assistance in tracing the whereabouts of a 21-year-old woman who has been missing from her home in Cork City, since Christmas Day.

In an appeal, issued this St Stephen's Day, they say Megan Lyons, also known as Megan O’Driscoll, was last seen at her home in the Farranree area at approximately 10.20pm on Wednesday.

Megan is described as being 5 foot 6 inches tall, with a medium build, blonde hair and blue eyes. When last seen, she was wearing a black Svetti jacket with brown fur trim on the hood, black leggings, and Steve Madden pink diamond trainers.

Gardaí say both they and Megan’s family are concerned for her well-being and they are appealing to members of the public to help in the efforts to locate her.
