RIP: Tragic Garda update as body found in search for missing man (52) in Louth
A search for a missing man in Louth has been stood down after the discovery of a body.
In an update on the missing person appeal for Patrick Ward from Ardee, a Garda spokesperson said: "Following the discovery of a man's body, the missing person appeal in respect of Patrick Ward, 52 years who was reported missing from his home in Ardee, Co. Louth since 11th December, 2024 has been stood down.
"We would like to thank the public and media for their assistance," they added.
