Edward 'Ned' Harty, 52, was last seen in Roscrea, County Tipperary on December 19
Gardai have issued an appeal for assistance in locating a 52-year-old man who has not been seen for more than a week.
In the appeal, which was issued this Saturday morning, they say Edward 'Ned' Harty, has been missing from his home in Roscrea, County Tipperary since Thursday, December 19.
Ned, who was last seen in the Roscrea area, is described as being 6 foot 2 inches tall with a thin build.
He has dark brown hair and blue eyes. It is unknown what Ned was wearing when he went missing.
Gardaí say both they and and Ned's family are concerned for his well-being.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to contact Nenagh garda station on 067 50450, the Garda Confidential Line at 1800 666 111, or any garda station.
