A baby has died in a home in Longford
Gardaí are investigating all the circumstances surrounding the death of a baby at a residential property in Abbeylara, Co. Longford on the morning of Sunday January 26 2025.
The deceased baby has been removed to the mortuary, according to Gardaí, at Crumlin Children's Hospital.
A post-mortem is due to take place on Monday 27th January 2025.
The State Pathologist will conduct the post mortem the results of which will determine the course of the investigation, Gardaí said.
Investigations are ongoing, according to an Garda Síochána.
