You can watch the show on RTE One at 9.35pm!

The Late Late Show is set to return this Friday night, with an eclectic group of sports stars, musicians and more, ensuring there is something to tickle everyone's fancy.

Olympic gold medallist and world champion, Daniel Wiffen will be sitting down with host Patrick Kielty for the first time since becoming an Olympic champion. Daniel will be looking ahead to the 2028 Olympics in Los Angeles and sharing some stories of racing fans in a swimming pool in Bali. The Olympian will also be going head-to-head with his brother Nathan for the first time in four years.

Ireland Head Coaches Heimir Hallgrímsson and Carla Ward will join Patrick this Friday night. Together they will be chatting about taking over as the new men's and women's Head Coaches, speaking on the upcoming 2025 fixtures, World Cup qualifications and the future of Irish football.

To give context, in 2019 the Dublin Poker Festival hit the headlines when one of its players disappeared. 41-year-old Jón Jónsson had arrived from his home in Iceland to play at the games. Within 24 hours of arriving in Dublin, he vanished.
