Gardaí issue warning as lorry caught travelling shocking speed outside school
Gardaí have issued a warning to motorists to slow down after a lorry was caught travelling almost double the speed limit outside of a school in Roscommon.
The driver was detected travelling at 91km/h in a 50km/h zone right outside of a school in Cloontuskert Village on Monday morning.
We were on patrol in Cloontuskert Village in Co. Roscommon this morning when we detected this lorry travelling at 91km/h in a 50km/h right in front of a school.

Gardaí happened to be on patrol in the village when the driver sped past them.
Once gardaí stopped the lorry driver, they were issued a Fixed Charge Penalty Notice.
