Almost 20kgs of herbal cannabis was found concealed in a suitcase following a search
A woman is being questioned by gardai following a significant drugs seizure at Dublin Airport.
Revenue officers discovered 19kg of herbal cannabis, worth around €380,000, when they searched the baggage of a passenger at the airport on Monday afternoon.
"The cannabis was discovered concealed in vacuum packed packages within the baggage of a passenger who had disembarked from a flight from Thailand. A woman in her 20s was subsequently arrested by An Garda Síochána in relation to the seizure," said a spokesperson.
Following her arrest, the woman was detained at a garda station in Dublin under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act, 1996.
