An Irish player came agonisingly close to winning a life-changing jackpot in Friday's Euromillions draw.
However, it was still a Good Friday for the Wicklow player who won €134,388 after their ticket matched 5 numbers and one lucky star.
The player was one of five players across the participating countries to achieve the feat just in time for Easter.
There was no winner of the main jackpot (match 5 + two lucky stars) of €52,448,887.
The National Lottery says the winning Irish ticket was a Quick Pick which was purchased on Holy Thursday from the Centra store at Wicklow Arms in Delgany.

For the record, the numbers for Friday's EuroMillions draw were: 20, 27, 35, 39, 48 and the two Lucky Stars were 3 and 8.
The National Lottery is urging all players in Wicklow to check their tickets carefully and the holder of the winning ticket is advised to contact the National Lottery prize claims team on 1800 666 222 or email claims@lottery.ie to arrange the collection of the prize.
Commenting following confirmation of the Irish winner, Emma Monaghan, National Lottery Spokesperson said: “What a fantastic start to the Easter Bank Holiday weekend for our players! While there was no winner of the EuroMillions jackpot worth a staggering €52,448,887, in total, over 47,000 players in Ireland won prizes in the EuroMillions and Plus games.
