Gardaí have revealed the locations of new static speed cameras set to be put in place Ireland, with the cameras becoming operational this coming Friday the 2nd of May.
The two new cameras will be located in Gorey, County Wexford, and Farnanes, County Cork.

The exact locations of the static speed safety cameras are on the R772 Ask, Gorey, County Wexford, and on the N22 Farnanes, County Cork.
Any vehicles detected driving in excess of the posted speed limits will be subject to prosecution from 12 midday on Friday the 2nd of May 2025.
The speeding offences take place by a Fixed Charge Notice, and the current Fixed Charge Notice is a €160 fine and accompanied by 3 penalty points.
