Gardaí have seized more than €500,000 worth of drugs and arrested three men following a major operation in Limerick on Tuesday.
The seizures were made as part of ongoing investigations targeting the sale and supply of drugs under Operation Tara.
Gardaí from the Limerick Divisional Drugs Unit, supported by other regional units, stopped a vehicle in the Galvone area and discovered drugs with an estimated street value of €30,000.
The stop led to a follow-up search at a nearby premises where gardaí uncovered a significant haul, including drugs worth a combined €500,000, and around €30,000 in cash.
Close to 200 rounds of ammunition and other drug-related paraphernalia were also seized during the search.
The three men arrested, two aged in their 40s and one in his 30s, are being held at garda stations in the Limerick Division.
All drugs seized will undergo further analysis by Forensic Science Ireland. Gardaí say investigations are ongoing.
