Young Irish girl dies suddenly leaving 'family utterly devastated'
Tributes have poured in following the tragic and sudden death of young Irish girl Izzy (Isobel) Erica McCluskey from Louth.
Izzy passed away unexpectedly on Friday June 13.
Her RIP.ie tribute piece reads: "She was a bright and gentle soul, whose presence brought joy, laughter, and light to everyone lucky enough to know her. Izzy leaves behind a family utterly devastated by her sudden loss, her loving parents, sister, brothers, grandmother Connie Gardiner, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family, friends and neighbours.
Her absence leaves a silence that echoes loudly in the lives of those who loved her, a young life gone far too soon, but never, ever forgotten."
Heartfelt messages have poured in from countless people on RIP.ie, from those who knew and cared for Izzy, with one mourner writing: "Izzy was an amazing gorgeous girl and one of the funniest people I knew. She always helped me when I was in a bad place and listened. I hope her family are okay and I hope she rests easy and in peace".

Another message said, "All in our Marist community are in mourning for the loss of our dear student, Isobel (Izzy). Izzy was a bright, creative, caring and much-loved student. Our thoughts and prayers are with Brenda, Clíodhna, Luke and the wider Gardiner and McCluskey families. May Izzy's gentle soul rest in eternal peace, sub Mariae nomine, under the protection of Mary."
"My daughter was in Izzy's year at school and I can only imagine what you are all going through right now. There are no words to heal your pain. Forever young dear Izzy may you get the best bed in heaven and give your loved ones strength and peace in the days and months ahead. Rip angel," another person said.
