A man has been arrested in connection with the discovery of an elderly woman’s body at a house in county Tipperary last August.
Gardaí in Nenagh said they are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of the pensioner, whose body was found at a house in St Joseph’s Park on August 4.
The woman, aged in her 80s, was pronounced dead at the scene and her body was taken to University Hospital Limerick.

A murder investigation was launched following her death.
On Thursday, Gardaí said a man in his 50s has been arrested in relation to the investigation.
He is currently being detained under the provisions of Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984.
Investigations are ongoing, Gardaí added.
