Tributes pour in following the sudden but peaceful death of a young women from Cavan remembered as a kind, compassionate and beautiful person inside and out

RIP Shannon Watson

Tributes have poured in for a young woman from Cavan, Shannon Watson, who sadly died suddenly in her sleep recently.

Shannon is remembered as a kind and compassionate young woman who was an incredible teacher.

She was from Church View, Ballyhaise in Cavan and died suddenly but peacefully in her sleep on Saturday July 26th.
She will be greatly missed by her mother Martina, dad Alex and his wife Janice, Brothers Dwyane (Shauna O'Reilly) and Aaron (Caoimhe) her partner Eoin Mahon, and nephew Noah.

Heartfelt messages have been left on RIP.ie, from those who knew and deeply loved Shannon, with one mourner writing,

"I am so terribly saddened to hear of Shannon's passing. Shannon was one of life's truly lovely people. She had a smile, an ear and time for everyone. She will be sorely missed in Athboy Community School. My deepest sympathies to Eoin and to all of Shannon's family. Thinking of you at this difficult time".

Another message said, "My sincere condolences to Eoin and the Watson family. I worked with Shannon at Athboy CS last year and she was an incredible teacher. She was kind and compassionate, a joy to all who knew her. My deepest sympathy is with you at this difficult time. May she rest in peace".

"Ms Watson was so beautiful inside and out, anyone that knew her could say she was such a kind person, she could make anyone smile, I hope she knows how many people she helped in our school, she always cared for everyone and she treated everyone equally, my thoughts and prayers are with her family, you’ll be so missed Ms Watson," another tribute said.

"My heartfelt sympathy to you Shannon’s family. A beautiful soul taken to soon. May she guide you through the journey ahead and give you the strength and the courage during the dark days. Rest in peace beautiful Angel," another person said.
