The community in Enniscorthy, Co Wexford, and beyond has been left numb by the news of the little boy’s sad death. Family, friends, locals and strangers have been passing on condolences to Rían’s parents.
One Wexford woman wrote: “Heartfelt sympathies to Carol, Sean, Michaela, Seanie, Olivia, and families on the heartbreaking news of Rian’s passing. There are no words. Please know you are all remembered with prayers of strength, hope and light at this most difficult time.”
Another message from a ‘Waterford mam’ simply read: “I don't know you or your family, but I'm so sorry for your loss. Rian was just beautifully perfect. RIP baby boy.”
