RIP Nicole 'Nicky' McNeill

A mother of nine has suddenly passed away and a GoFundMe has been set up to help her nine children and partner with financial costs, including back to school costs this September.

Nicole (Nicky) McNeill from Dublin died peacefully but unexpectedly at home on Monday 14th July 2025, leaving her family shocked and devastated. Nicky, among her nine children, had a four month old baby that is now tragically without their mother.

Nicky was the loving mother to her adored children Kyle, Kelsey, Keeley, Kayden, Kaycee, Killian, Kendell, Kolt, Khalani. She will be forever sadly missed by her sons and daughters, her partner Jay, her Father Frank, granddaughter Ariyah, newborn grandson Tadhgh, brothers and sisters, brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

Nicole's funeral is taking place in Stafford’s Funeral Home, Ballyfermot, on Friday the 18th of July from 3-5pm. A committal service and a celebration of Nicole’s life will take place on Saturday 19th July at 12.30pm in Stafford’s Funeral Home followed by burial at Palmerstown Cemetery.

The GoFundMe has been set up to help Nicole's family financially as she leaves behind her heartbroken partner and nine children.

The GoFundMe said: "we're reaching out with a heartfelt request for support following the sudden and tragic loss of our beloved Aunt Nicole, a young mum of nine precious children. Her passing has left her family in shock and facing unexpected expenses, including funeral costs and the urgent need to relocate the children to ensure their care and stability".

"With the new school year approaching in September, there are added costs for clothing, bedding, and getting the little ones ready for this big transition – all of which have come as a sudden and stressful burden. One of her children is just four months old, making this an especially challenging time for the family".
"Any contribution to our fundraising efforts would be deeply appreciated and would help alleviate some of the financial strain, allowing the family to focus on healing and supporting these young children during this incredibly difficult time. Your kindness and generosity would mean the world to us and to Aunt Nicole's family. Thank you so much for any help you can provide".
The GoFundMe has raised €787 so far with a target goal of €5,000. The GoFundMe can be found here.
