Coincidence or karma? Gardaí arrest drug driver while on the way to serve their summons!

The motorist was subject to a roadside breath test which they failed after testing positive for cocaine and cannabis

While en-route to serve a summons for drug driving, Gardaí in Kildare unexpectedly encountered the very individual they were looking for.
In a social media post, members of the Naas Roads Policing Unit were on the way to deliver this summons when they observed a car speeding out of a housing estate in the area.
Upon pulling over the vehicle, Gardaí couldn't believe their eyes when the driver turned out to be the person they were on the way to serve the summons to.
The motorist was then subject to a roadside breath test which they failed after testing positive for cocaine and cannabis.
Calling it "a twist of fate", a spokesperson for An Garda Síochána commented on this, saying, "They were arrested and will now face: a lengthy driving disqualification, a hefty fine and a possible prison sentence.
"Never drive under the influence of drink or drugs – the consequences are serious," they concluded.
