Two men arrested at Dublin Port with nearly €1million worth of cocaine

Gardaí have arrested two men following a seizure of €980,000 cocaine by Revenue Officers at Dublin Port on Monday August 25, 2025.

Approximately 14kgs of suspected cocaine with an estimated value of €980,000 was seized by Revenue Officers following the search of a car which had disembarked from a ferry.

The two men, aged in their 30s and 20s, are currently detained under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act 1996 at a Garda Station in Dublin.

They have both been charged and are due to appear before the evening sitting of the Criminal Courts of Justice Dublin today Wednesday August 27, 2025.

Investigations are ongoing.
