Check your tickets! Irish lotto player wins lifechanging €20,000 a month for 30 years
Two lucky Irish players struck gold in Monday night's EuroDreams Draw, making it the first Irish win since the game was launched in 2023.
The National Lottery confirmed that it was an Irish player that won the mouth-watering EuroDreams Top Prize on Monday night, 8 September worth €20,000 every month for 30 years.
The jackpot winner matched all six numbers and the dream number in the EuroDreams draw. The winning numbers were: 1, 3, 5, 11, 20, 31 and the Dream number was 5.
And that's not all! Another Irish player bagged a dreamy €2,000 a month for the next five years in last night's EuroDreams draw after matching all six numbers.
The two players have not yet claimed their prizes and so the National Lottery has urged all players to check their tickets carefully.

EuroDreams is unlike other draw-based games, the annuity top prize which is worth €7.2 million will be paid in monthly tax-free payments of €20,000 spread over 30 years. Similarly, the Tier 2 prize will be paid in monthly tax-free payments of €2,000 spread over 5 years.
The game is played in eight countries, namely Ireland, Austria, Belgium, France, Luxembourg, Portugal, Spain and Switzerland.
Commenting on the huge win, National Lottery spokesperson Darragh O’Dwyer said: "This is a phenomenal night for Irish EuroDreams players and another landmark moment for the National Lottery. To have our very first EuroDreams top prize winner is truly historic, €20,000 a month for 30 years is a life changing prize!
"And to add to the excitement, we also have a Tier 2 winner who will receive €2,000 a month for five years. It’s a dream double-win for Ireland, and we couldn’t be more thrilled. We’re encouraging all our players to check their tickets, as you could be one of Ireland’s latest big winners."
