LIVE: Witnesses sought after Kerry crash leaves cyclist (40s) seriously injured

Gardaí are now appealing for any witnesses to this collision to come forward

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses following a crash in Kerry which has left one man seriously injured. 
The road traffic collision occurred on the busy Oakpark Road in Tralee on Wednesday, October 1. 

Taking place shortly before 7:05am, the incident involved a car and a bicycle. 

The cyclist, a man aged in his 40s, was conveyed to University Hospital Kerry for treatment of serious injuries. No other injuries were reported.
  

Gardaí are now appealing for any witnesses to this collision to come forward.

Any road users who may have camera footage (including dash-cam) and were travelling on the Oakpark Road between 6:45am and 7:15am on Wednesday, October 1 are asked to make this footage available to investigating Gardaí.

Investigations are ongoing.
