Gardai in urgent appeal for help locating missing girl (15) who may have travelled to Dublin

An Garda Síochána are seeking the public's assistance in tracing the whereabouts of a teenage girl who has vanished from Carlow Town. 

In an appeal, they say 15-year-old Megan O’Brien has not been seen at approximately 7.30pm on Saturday October 11.

It is believed that Megan may have travelled to the Dublin City Centre area.

She is also known to frequent the Celbridge, Co. Kildare area.

Megan is described as being 5 foot 8 inches in height, with a slim build, brown hair and brown eyes.

When last seen, Megan was wearing a black jacket, grey joggers and black Converse-style runners.

Gardaí have said that they are concerned for Megan’s well-being.
