ALERT: Irish parents warned as Next recalls popular item amid serious risk of choking

A nationwide recall has been issued by the Consumer and Competition Protection Commission (CCPC) in Ireland for popular items of boys and girls clothing sold in Next amid fears of serious risk of choking on loose parts.

JoJo Maman Bébé Ltd is carrying out a recall on JoJo Maman Bébé Childrenswear for girls and boys.

The product presents a risk of scratches and choking. There is a problem with the way the poppers used for fastenings were attached. The popper could become accessible which may cause scratching, or detach from the product which could cause choking.

There are nearly 40 affected products in the Republic of Ireland. The products were sold by Next and JoJo Maman Bébé.

If you purchased one of these products, please discontinue use immediately and keep it out of the reach of children.

If you purchased any of the products in a Next or Jojo Maman Bébé store, please return the product to the store for a full refund.

If you purchased this product on the Next website, you can contact Next for a full refund.

If you bought any of the products on the JoJo Maman Bébé website, please call their Customer Service team on 00 44 0333 777 4529 and they will be able to arrange a return and full refund.
