'Farmyard chic' - NCT testers took drastic action when this car arrived for test

NCT Ireland felt it necessary to take to social media this week to remind drivers across Ireland to make sure their vehicle is clean before bringing it in for the test.

The car in question was brought to the testing centre but upon seeing the interior's condition, the customer was refunded their test fee and asked to come back at a later date with a clean car.

The post said,

"A vehicle recently arrived for testing after giving a lift to a few sheep. Safe to say, it was more “farmyard chic” than NCT ready!

"You probably wouldn’t want a tester getting into your car after that one, so please make sure your vehicle is clean before your NCT, cross-contamination between vehicles can occur!

"This customer was refunded their test fee and asked to return with a clean vehicle for a new test."
