Gardai have confirmed a technical examination has been completed by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators and they are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the incident to come forward.

"Road users with camera footage, including dash-cam, who were travelling on the R639 near Ballinrush, Kilworth, Co. Cork between 10.50am and 11.20am on Monday, March 23, 2026 are asked to make this footage available to investigating gardaí," added the spokesperson.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Fermoy garda station on 025 82100, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111, or any garda station.
