'Stop use immediately' - Popular home product pulled from shelves amid serious burn risk

The Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (CCPC) has alerted the public across Ireland to an urgent recall being carried amid serious risks of fire and burns.

TJX Ireland Unlimited Company t/a TK Maxx and Homesense is carrying out a recall of a Bluzen Infrared Sauna Blanket.

The product presents a risk of fire and burns. The blanket may overheat during use, which could lead to the product melting, creating a risk of fire and burns.

The brand is Bluzen. The type/number of model is LER-01. The receipt and price ticket code will be either 005897, 005899, 005902, 005903, 005905 or 005908.

There are approximately 92 affected products in the Republic of Ireland. The product was on sale in TK Maxx and Homesense stores between October 2025 and March 2026.

What to do:

Customers should stop using the product immediately and return it to any TK Maxx or Homesense store for a full refund.
