Jason will repose at Cross’s Funeral Home, Lower Gerald Griffin Street, Limerick city this Thursday, April 23 from 2pm to 4pm.

His funeral Mass will take place on Friday, April 24 at 11am in St Munchin’s Church, Clancy Strand. Jason will be laid to rest in Meelick Cemetery with Scarlett and other members of the Faulkner family following Requiem Mass.

The Faulkner family are releasing blue and gold balloons for Jason at Scarlett's resting place in Meelick Cemetery this Wednesday at 5pm.

Last Friday, Jason was one of the pallbearers at his sister Scarlett’s funeral following her death four weeks after she was assaulted on the side of the road in Birdhill. Two days later he tragically passed away.

Many tributes have poured in following his death with many expressing their condolences to the Faulkner family from Longpavement on the northside of Limerick city.

Jason, a son of Banny and Mary, is one of 16 siblings.

One person posted on social media: “It’s a sad world we live in. Poor Banny and Mary buried their daughter Scarlett two days ago and now their son.

“God may mind them and keep them strong. Pray for all the family again. This is a painful world. Rest in peace, Jason.”
