Drag fundraising nbight of entertainment to raise funds for Tipperary Town service

A fundraiser for C-Saw services in Tipperary Town will be held on Friday January 6

C-Saw Tipperary is a voluntary organisation providing a drop-in “Listening Ear” support service for anyone who is feeling sad and depressed. 

Free counselling is also  available by appointment.

 C- Saw was established to help members of the community who have lost loved ones to suicide and now extends to all individuals seeking support  due of feeling low, or depressed or just need someone to talk to. 

It offers a free confidential service in a safe welcoming environment. C-Saw Tipperary opened its doors ten years ago and extended to Tipperary Town in July of last year,and they are  located in CJ Kickham Brass and Reed Band Hall, Davis Street, Tipperary. 

Coffee morning every Monday from 10.30 to 12.30. This is a drop-in centre for anyone who would like to chat and meet new friends .All are welcome.

To sustain this valuable community service C-SAW Tipperary are holding a fundraiser in Clanwilliam Rugby Club, Tipperary Town on Friday, January 6.

 Tickets €20 each to include cheese and wine reception at 8 pm followed by D’Beurs Little Queen’s Christmas show.

D’Bours are a drag collective who all found their queer expression in Rebel county.  The group formed through their love of drag and debuted in February 23 of 2022. They have been growing from strength to strength with pop up shows, appearing nationwide. 

Originally created and produced by Lucina Schyinning, the cast now spans from Cork drag excellence to London starlets such as Polly Glamorous, Liam Bee, Lucina Schynning, Krystal Queer, Ashima Kent, Kia Koke and featuring up and coming Clonmel native Jeanie Mac. 

From viral Tic Tok videos to national competitions winners, this group have an eclectic and versatile approach to the art of Drag, none of which has been seen in Tipperary to date.

D’Beours strive to bring the queerest homegrown talent to local Ireland and collaborate with as many queer artists where possible such as Avril O’Sullivan - a renowned digital media artist and photographer based in Cork. 

Hometown is never more evident than this upcoming Tipperary adventure for the Cork crew; Polly Glamorous or as some of you may know as Richie Crowe is host and event liaison for the night. no stranger to the stages of Tipperary.

 Polly has used their connections to C-SAW Tipperary and was more than delighted to gather her gaggle of queens to the Premier County to bring a night of camp, cabaret and queerness to Clanwilliam Rugby Club. 

The organising committee are delighted to have the support of Tipp F M Radio’s popular DJ Andrew Looby who will play all your favourite music till late.

There will be lots of spot prizes on the night and a raffle for  some fantastic prizes also including a luxurious night away in the Kilkenny Pembroke Hotel (proprietor John Ryan is from Tipperary) and many, many more prizes.
