'It's something we need to speed up', Tipperary councillor calls for village broadband upgrade

Councillor Sean Ryan has said it is essential to Littleton's high-speed broadband.

He requested an update on the National Broadband Plan at a recent sitting of Thurles Municipal District council. He said covid-19 had “changed the working landscape forever.”

“It makes it more difficult if you don’t have access to high-speed broadband. It's something we need to speed up; forgive the pun,” said Cllr Ryan.

A representative from Tipperary County Council said she would follow up on the councillors’ query.
