Carrick Swan GAA Club's Minor footballers were crowned County Minor B champions on Saturday last in Bansha after a great tussle with Silvermines.

The Swan were excellent winning with a final score of 4-7 to 0-8. Great credit must go to this group of young men and there management team in what has been a very long season that ended in the best way possible. Well done to all involved.

The club's adult awards night takes place in the Carraig Hotel on Saturday, January 21. Doors open at 8pm and all players are asked to be in attendance by 8.30pm. The awards ceremony will start at 9pm and will be followed by music with DJ Will. All are welcome to what promises to be a great night.

Carrick Swan Club's Juvenile lotto jackpot is now €14,750. Numbers drawn last week were: 19, 21, 22,27. Seven players matched three numbers and won €30 each.

The club's Annual General Meeting takes place at the in Pairc na nEalaí clubhouse this Wednesday, January 11 at 7.30pm. This is a very important event and the club committee appeals for a big turn out from members.
