Thurles students do their schools proud at this year's BT Young Scientist and Technology Exhibition

Ursuline TY students Gillian Aherne, Kate Fitzgerald and Rosa Ryan who exhibited their project, Restrictions on Addiction at the BT Young Scientist 2023 at the RDS

Luke Blackwell’s second year, took part in the BTYSTE. Luke’s project was titled ‘Acomparative study into the factors influencing the effectiveness of a natural fertiliser ondifferent soils.’

He had plenty of support from his classmates on Thursday.

The boys were also delighted to meet up with Simon Coveney, who answered all their inquisitive questions.

There was a busy Friday for Luke, meeting with Eamon Ryan, past pupil. Shane Willoughby and last year’s 2022 BT winner Aditya Joshi.

Well done to Luke for flying the flag at the BT Young Scientist.
