Cllr Richie Molloy has expressed sincere sympathies to the Acheson family on the passing of the legendary Carrie Acheson.
"Carrie was a once in a lifetime character and served the people of our community in so many different ways both as a political representative and as a community activist,Clonmel Show Society was one of the great loves of her life as indeed were the National Ploughing Championships where she was rightly known as the Voice of the Plough .
May Her Soul Rest In Peace," said Cllr Molloy.
