Carrick-on-Suir athletes win individual and team medals at Tipperary Masters cross country

MEDALS AT COUNTY MASTER CROSS COUNTRY CHAMPIONSHIPS


The Tipperary County Cross Country Championships 2022 was held by Thurles Crokes on their athletics grounds at Thurles on Sunday, January 22, we had four athletes taking part in the men’s 7k race.


Our first runner home was Dermot Gorman in 24.03 finishing 2nd overall and winning Individual 2nd place o/40 Silver medal, followed by Eugene O’Keeffe putting a fine performance to finish 10th overall in 26.23 winning 1st place o/50 Gold medal also running well, Barry Drohan 26.46 in 11th place and Keith Fraher 28.08 in 22nd place.

RAHENY 5 MILE ROAD RACE
The 2023 AAX Raheny 5 mile road race hosted by Raheny Shamrock Athletic Club took pace at
Raheny in Dublin Sunday, January 29 with total of 3871 finishers.

Well done to our two runners taking part - Dermot Gorman in 26:29; Keith Fraher in 30:31
