Tipperary junior camogie panel for Very Ireland National League is announced

Claire Stakelum , Holycross/Ballycahill is included in the panel

Tipperary junior camogie manager David Sullivan has named a strong 32-player panel for the upcoming Very Ireland National League.

Fifteen clubs are represented, with Silvermines having the most representatives with seven players, followed by Éire Óg Annacarty/Donohill who have five players.

Some key players from last year’s campaign feature, including top forward Aoife McLoughney, Burgess Duharra’s Ciara McKeogh and last year’s captain Clodagh Horgan.

Ciannait Walsh and Claire Stakelum captain the side, bringing with them a wealth of experience. There are also places for some younger players who lit up last year’s club championship including Danielle Ryan and Katie Fitzgerald (Borris-Ileigh), Amy Callanan (Moycarkey/Borris) and Drom/Inch’s Caroline Shanahan.

Tipperary compete in the division 2B of the league along with Cork, Galway, Kilkenny and Wexford.

Their league begins on Saturday February 25 away to Cork before welcoming Kilkenny a week later. The final two rounds are Wexford at home and Galway away.
