Dan Quirke, father of Tipperary hurler, Dillon Quirke, appeared on Ireland AM this morning to speak about the death of his son.
Dillon Quirke was a 24 year old Hurler who played for Tipperary Senior Championship club Clonoulty Rossmore. On August 5th he collapsed suddenly and died on the pitch while playing for his GAA club.
The Quirke family have set up a fundraiser with the help of the GAA community to raise funds for the Dillon Quirke Foundation – you can find the Go Fund Me page link below.
