Conor Stakelum expected to return to action in the league after injury against Laois

Tipperary midfielder Conor Stakelum is expected to return to action later in the National League after it was confirmed he suffered a minor hamstring injury against Laois.

The Thurles Sarsfields man made way at the start of the second half of the match at FBD Semple Stadium, pulling up innocuously running to a ball, and there was concerns from Tipperary boss Liam Cahill over the injury.

However, the injury was not a serious one as Stakelum suffered a "strain" and after a period of rest and rehab, he will see league action again before the end of the competition.
