Carrick Swan GAA Club's honours its top teams and players of the year at awards night

Carrick Swan GAA Club presented medals to its victorious South league and championship teams of the past two years and honoured its players of the year at a ceremony in the Carraig Hotel on Saturday, January 21. 

Medals were presented to club teams that won the 2021 Junior A South Football Championship and the 2022 Junior B Hurling South League and South Championship. Medals were also presented to the  Senior hurling team that won the 2022 South Senior Hurling Championship. 

And awards were  presented to the club’s Junior Hurler of the Year Darren Murphy, Senior Hurler of the Year Billy Murphy and Young Camogie Player of the Year Emma O’Halloran. The MJ Collins Young Hurler of the Year Award was presented to Cory Ryan. 

The Swan Club congratulates all its medal and award recipients and thanks all who attended the end of year celebration. 

 The club also thanks its sponsor JSF, the Carraig Hotel for use of the function room and DJ Will who provided the music entertainment at the event.
