Clonmel Flower Club's meeting will be held at Hotel Minella next Wednesday
Clonmel Flower Club will hold its first meeting of the year next Wednesday, February 15 at 8pm at Hotel Minella.
This year beginners are encouraged and welcome to join the club, which was founded in 1965 and is one of the oldest flower clubs in the country.
At next week’s meeting, honorary life member, Mildred Stokes, will give a talk and a demonstration for beginners on the basics of flower arranging, using few flowers but using the wealth of interesting plant material available in our gardens and hedgerows.
This is a good opportunity to learn the basic skills.
Please come along on the night and enjoy this introduction to flower arranging for the home, church and for special family events.
