Residents of Ballyporeen raise concerns about speed of cars going through village

Council says speed radar signs are not needed outside two primary schools

Residents in Ballyporeen are concerned about the speed of cars going through the village

Cllr Máirín McGrath told a meeting of Tipperary/Cahir/Cashel Municipal District that people in Ballyporeen were worried about speeding cars.

Cllr McGrath said that residents of Upper Main Street were concerned by the speed of traffic on a daily basis.
Town Engineer James said they would assess the way in which the speed check was done in that area.
